Monday Mantra

I think I might start a new blog fad for myself…introducing Monday Mantra! I’m feeling that some positive affirmations are needed to get the week going in the right direction. Think positive, be positive, have a positive attitude.

Are you one who dreads a Monday, or loves it?

Monday signals the start of a new week. Monday signals the start of new beginnings, new opportunities, new chances to live. We need to see each day as a reminder of how amazing life is and how lucky we are to be alive facing a new week. You can embrace the many opportunities that each day brings. Each day is a chance to improve your life or the life of another.

Think back on today and determine the good things you did to make your day special and how may you have affected that of another. Do you wish you could or would have done some things differently? Well don’t worry, there is tomorrow and another chance to make the day what you want; To live in the moment and be present. Express gratitude for the day. Be aware of the beauty of nature that surrounds you, and enjoy the sounds that sing to you. The smallest things can make a great day. Those great days make the worst days feel a million miles away. Be you, be happy.

Hope you had a wonderful Monday!

Keep The Faith

Some mid week motivation, to continue to keep the faith!

Oh, souls — let us try not to worry so much, OK? It’s so bad for our minds and our bodies and our spirits, and it’s so bad for everyone around us, too. And when we get all bent-up and broken-up and fragmented from worry, we make it SO DIFFICULT for the universe to help show us our destinies.

The universe is wanting to communicate something with you. It wants to take you somewhere very specific (to your ultimate destiny, which is PEACE and wisdom and wholeness) but your worrying is a kind of crazy emotional static that prevents you from hearing the messages.

Have some faith. Have some faith in yourself, and have faith in fate, as well.

What if you remembered this: Everything you have ever endured so far in life, you have survived.

And sometimes, to your own surprise, you even thrived.

Maybe the worst thing you ever endured was a crucible through which you became YOU.

Maybe you could not have become YOU through any other means except by going through that trial.

Maybe a trial will happen again. Maybe a trial is happening right now. And maybe, once again, you will survive it. (All signs point to YES. After all, you have done it before.) Maybe you will come through these troubles re-formed, re-forged. re-born. Maybe you will insist upon that. Maybe that’s the strange invitation at the bottom of all this anxiety.

You have seen your own strength. You have seen your own beauty. You have seen your own golden wings. Why do you worry?

What if your story is unfolding just as it was always planned?

Be brave, have faith. You can do this.

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday my friends! Today was a day of relaxing and giving my soul time to catch up with my body. I shared the day with family, smiling, cooking and laughing. Now I can plan to get this new week going. Hopefully you have taken some time for yourself as well. Make this week happen with purpose. Push yourself in a way you have not done before. Go for something that you have longed to achieve. Be daring. Be brave. Be proud. Do it for you, what ever “it” is. Happiness comes from within, and once you achieve it, it will be seen by all, on the outside. Smile everyone!

Purpose and Imaginitive

Play-it-Safers, The

Creatures Of The

Commonplace, The

Slaves Of The Ordinary.

Strength

It’s Friday afternoon, and it’s been a busy week! Looking back on the things that kept the week moving and interesting, and it was a good time. We all need the strength to make it through anything, strength to face another day, strength to admit life is good no matter the challenges. You have to look close at the things that truly make you smile and be happy. Blessed to have family and friends to share the days, the weeks, the years with. Hope everyone can reflect on things with a smile. Look for what you are grateful for and recognize the strength it took to make it past the things that were not so pleasant. Enjoy your days, and here are a couple quotes to give you motivation to conquer the weekend!!

You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.

~Unknown

Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.

~Rikki Rodgers

Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.

 ~Bruce Lee

Believe you can and you’re half way there!

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

~Theodore Roosevelt
