Most Americans are deficient in at least one vitamin, mineral, or essential fatty acid that affects their health. Modern foods do not contain all the nutrients an individual needs due to modern farming techniques, processing, and extended shelf lives of products. Poor nutrition has been linked to many health problems, including ADD, learning disorders, memory problems, behavior problems, reduced IQ, and depression.
